ABC AZMIE WAWA@MEDAN SELERA KAMPUNG MELAYU MAJIDEE

Sightseeing in Johor is such a wonderful experience to me. Heading back to KL, I drove myself to Kampung Melayu area as it is famous for its food court@medan selera. As I step out of the car, the weather was terribly hot. It was like being in sauna with 10 heat lamps bearing down on me. I can’t take this anymore. Must find something to sooth myself inside this medan selera. I found 1 ABC shop known as ABC Azmie Wawa inside here.

ABC(Air Batu Campur) is also known as Malaysian Shaved Ice. This shop offers you 2 choices of ABC which are ABC Biasa and ABC Special.

What makes them different is because ABC Special contains ice cream on top of the ABC. Straight away I ordered ABC Special. When it arrives, this is how it look likes:-

You can choice whether to have it here or take away. Above picture shows the take away ABC. Nutmeg,grass jelly,cherry and red beans are placed inside it.

How it looks like when iced already filled inside with  palm sugar syrup, colored sugar syrup and sweetened condensed milk.

Taste? Into perfection for hot weather. Crunching roasted peanuts while some of it stuck in between your teeth never feel better. Why? Because you are savouring the taste of the syrup and ice cream melting inside your mouth.. Worth a try. Below are details of this shop.

Strawberry Marshmallow Cheese

Sunday can be such a doomed if stuck in your room doing nothing. I’m totally starved to death and craving for ice cream. Nothing left inside cupboard except for nothing. Totally need to shop. As I browsing through Cold Storage Alamanda, my eyes were glued to one of the Section. I’ve stared for quite sometimes to the marshmallow. What so special about this thing? I’ve squeeze the packaging and it’s so spongy. I wanna try one. But I’m not gonna but this junk that cost me rm12. Hey! Since im hunger for ice cream just now, maybe I can get another alternative way to enjoy my dessert but with marshmallow with it. 

While walking to the Ambank to withdraw some money, my eyes glanced to the shop beside it. SECRET RECIPE. Hey~ Cake can fill my tummy for tonight desert. Ice cream can wait. I’ve decided to go inside and while my eyes open widely scanning all the cakes, to my surprise there’s 1 cake contains marshmallow. It is called STRAWBERRY MARSHMALLOW CHEESE. Hey, my chance to taste it. I grabbed one slice, sat down in their comfy red cushion while take a lil bite of the marshmallow first. 

Hey, not bad! Continuously chewing it with anxious to determine its taste. It tastes like sugary with lil bit of stickiness. Speaking of stickiness, definitely not like chewing gum but it stick for a while at your palate. The strawberry sauce on top of this cake tastes sweet but sour a bit like when u eat a fresh strawberry, your eyes started to close, press hard and wrinkles started to form at the end corner of your eyes. Same goes to the strawberry layer that mash together with the marshmallow. For the cheese, taste creamy and moist. The cookies layer underneath the cheese layer synchronizes very well with the cheese. Feel like cookies but like a peanut that had been blend till it becomes very fine.

Worth to try and reasonable price for a slice. Finish it quickly, head back home to watch tv while eating ice cream. Good experience for me to taste the marshmallow.
p/s: To whom dislike sour flavor dessert, not recommended because the strawberry part kinda sour for temporarily.
